We spent Valentine’s weekend here and were completely enchanted from arrival to departure. Steeped in 15th-century charm, the hotel is filled with historic art, romantic details like kissing chairs, and a wonderfully intimate atmosphere. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Boar. We stayed in the main building, in a room above the bar, and slept wonderfully in a very comfortable four-poster bed. The charming creaks throughout the building only added to its unique ambience. Free parking and a central location made it ideal for exploring, and the included breakfast was the perfect way to start the day.
